Sudden rash

It is the only rash that appears after the fever has abruptly ended. It is characterized by the eruption of papules and macules (maculopapular), pinkish-pink in color, measuring 2 mm to 5 mm, non-pruritic. In some cases, a pale halo may occur around the macules and papules. The rash usually starts on the trunk and can spread to the neck, extremities, and face. It may persist for 1 to 3 days and disappears spontaneously without flaking.
