Chickenpox
Generalized, usually pruritic, eruption of macules that evolve into erythematous papules and vesicles and later into crusted papules. Lesions are typically in different stages of development and are distributed over the entire body (scalp, face, trunk, extremities, genitals). New vesicle formation usually ceases after 4-5 days, with most lesions crusting by day 6. Crusts tend to disappear after 1-2 weeks, but may leave a temporary area of hypopigmentation.
