Algorithm that presents the most probable causes of secondary hypertension, namely obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, parenchymal renal disease, renal artery stenosis, primary hyperaldosteronism, pheochromocytoma, thyroid dysfunction, coarctation of the aorta or Cushing’s syndrome. For each possible etiology, it is presented the most probable sign/symptoms and the diagnostic approach.
